Alpha & Olmega are no newcomers to the house music game, they have been building their reputation on deep emotive house music into such extent, that their last release was on the imprint of Grammy award winning producer Louie Vega's own label. He has been following their progress as we have at Bedfunk. Unknown Beauty with the beautiful song and spoken word by Aubrey Black, also hailing out of Johannesburg, was first released on our sister label Strictly Music's Miami sampler back in 2012. We thought it deserved it's own release and label boss Pat Bedeau was so touched by the vocals that he wanted to do his own take on the track, taking it in a different direction with a jazzy groove and live bass provided by multi-instrumentalist Ziggy Funk, who also lays down the keys on the Bedfunk Remix. To complete package we enlisted a master of the African sound Jonny Miller, who has been around the Deep House scene and has a back catalogue on many a respected label defining his sound and who delivers a real dance floor bomb that will set any dance floor alight. Bedfunk are proud to present the full release of Unknown Beauty .
